Kelly’s approach
Coaching starts with the athlete’s personality, goals, sport dynamics, support system, interests, pressures and strengths.
Get clear on the challenge, the context and what the athlete wants to change.
Learn evidence-informed strategies that make sense for the athlete, not a one-size-fits-all program.
Practice the skills in training, competition and everyday sport life until they feel usable under pressure.
Kelly’s Training Framework
Kelly’s training is organized into three phases. Each phase builds on the one before it, giving athletes time to understand the tools, develop them around their specific challenges and then apply them in sport.
Most clients meet weekly or every other week, leaving time between sessions to practice and apply new skills.
Phase 1
Kelly gets to know the athlete, what they love about their sport and their short- and long-term goals, while introducing tools they can begin using in practice, performance and beyond.

Phase 2
This phase gets specific. Kelly helps the athlete identify the source of the challenges they are facing and develop skills to work through those hurdles with more confidence and consistency.

Phase 3
As the athlete uses more tools in training and competition, Kelly helps troubleshoot problem areas, fine-tune what is working and strengthen the skills that need more attention.

What happens after Phase 2?
Sessions can also be purchased individually after Phases 1 and 2. Depending on the athlete’s needs, they may later return for a check-in, a tune-up or support with a new challenge.
