Confidence
Helping girls notice their strengths and build a more supportive inner voice.
Behind the purple curtain
Camp Ultraviolet is a confidence-building program for girls ages 7–13, created by Kelly Hobbs, CMPC®, that pairs age-appropriate mental performance skills with movement, friendship and fun.
Growing brighter together.
The idea
Helping girls notice their strengths and build a more supportive inner voice.
Learning how to lead, communicate and contribute to a team.
Practicing how to respond to mistakes, challenge and change.
Exploring fun, positive ways to move and care for the body.
Turning hopes and dreams into clear next steps.
Creating a supportive environment where individuality and connection can both thrive.
What to expect
Camp begins with a craft and morning huddle. From there, girls move through activities like barre, Pilates, dance or another form of physical activity, then shift into the core mental-training lesson for the day.
Afternoons may include figure skating or another physical activity depending on the camp location. Campers then cool down with mindful movement such as stretching or Pilates before wrapping up the day together.
How to prepare
Exact details vary by location, and registered campers receive a full packing list before camp.
Lunch + plenty of snacks
Refillable water bottle
Yoga mat or towel
Running shoes
Stretchy athletic clothing
Hoodie or light jacket
For skating camps: warm layers, gloves and socks
Most importantly: an open mind and open heart
The story behind CUV
Kelly layered age-appropriate mental performance skills into the kind of athletic summer camp experience she loved growing up. Camp Ultraviolet first launched as a week-long camp in Nashville and has continued to expand with new locations and formats.
The goal has stayed the same: build girls up, celebrate individuality and remind them that working together helps everyone succeed.
